Situated in Portmagee, winner of the Ireland First Tourism Town Award, Reen Coast B&B overlooks Valentia Island and the Portmagee Channel. It is an ideal base for touring the beautifully scenic Ring of Kerry, a trip not to be missed, which passes close by. All the rooms have views of the sea and mountains, and have en-suite bathrooms, WiFi and TVs. On arrival you will be greeted by delicious home baking and tea or coffee. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we are no longer offering Breakfast. This owner is an avid walker and gives good advice on the best trails, from easy to "you need to be experienced".

Helpful hostess, small room and bathroom.

We had a lovely stay here with Kathleen. The room was very comfortable, and the view out the window of the fields was so lovely. Kathleen was a lovely hostess, and was very helpful in getting us a couple of seats on the boats going out to Skellig Michael. It was just a short drive into town for dinner, and it was lovely to be out in the country, with fresh clean air and peace and quiet.

A quaint B&B, definitely off the beaten path. Only takes cash and there are no ATM in Portmagee or Valentia and the nearest one is in Cahersiveen. I was unaware that it was cash only and I had emailed her with my credit card number to prepay but never heard back from her..... needless to say I was scurrying for Euros.
